This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application GirlMap (“the App”), operated by STOCKIMG AI YAZILIM TEKNOLOJILERI ANONIM SIRKETI (“the Company”, “we”, “us”), registered in Türkiye, handles information.

1. Your Location

If you allow it, the App uses your device’s location to show where you are, to find places near you and to guide you turn by turn. While a trip is being guided, location keeps updating in the background (iOS shows this) until the trip ends. GirlMap has no accounts and does not keep a history of where you have been.

To search for places and to calculate routes, the App sends the search text and the coordinates involved (your position and your destination) to the search and routing services:

• Photon (operated by komoot) for place search;
• Valhalla (operated by FOSSGIS e.V. or another provider we configure) for routes;
• OpenFreeMap for the map tiles the App downloads.

These services receive the requests like any web request, including your IP address. We do not send them any identifier of yours.

2. What Stays on Your Device

Saved places, recent searches, widget designs, your chosen voice and sounds, and greetings you record stay on your device (some in a container shared with the App’s widget and its Shortcuts actions). Microphone access is used only while you record a greeting; recordings are never uploaded.

3. Purchases

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore them across reinstalls. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history from Apple. It does not receive your payment card details, your location or your saved places.
• Apple: Processes payments and subscriptions under Apple’s own privacy policy.

4. Analytics and Crash Reports

To keep the App stable and improve it, we use Google Firebase:

• Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (e.g. screens reached, which map theme or voice was chosen, that a trip started or ended, paywall views) tied to a random app instance ID.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Technical crash details (device model, OS version, the stack trace).
• Firebase Remote Config: Anonymous device attributes (language, country, App version) used to adjust App settings without an update.

This data may be processed on servers outside your country, including outside Türkiye and the EEA. It never contains your coordinates, searches, saved places or recordings.

5. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts or photos, we do not keep your location history, and we do not sell or share personal information.

6. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the anonymous analytics and crash data above are the only data processed by us.
