This Privacy Policy describes how Watermark Studio (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android.
Watermark Studio processes your photos entirely on your device. Your photos, watermark templates, and signatures never leave your phone. We do not require an account, we do not collect your name, email address, or contact details, and we do not sell data to anyone. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous usage analytics, crash diagnostics, and the information needed to process in-app purchases.
a) Usage Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which screens are opened and which features are used. This data includes a randomly generated app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, and coarse, event-level interaction data (e.g. “export completed”). This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
b) Crash Diagnostics (Google Firebase Crashlytics)
If the App crashes or encounters an error, technical diagnostic data (crash traces, device model, OS version, app version) is sent to Firebase Crashlytics so we can find and fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity.
c) Purchases (RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play)
If you purchase Watermark Studio Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase receipt information (product, price, currency, transaction dates). We never see or store your payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
Third-party privacy policies:
The App contains no advertising, no advertising SDKs, and does not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID). We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.
The App requests photo library access solely so that you can (a) pick the photos you want to watermark and (b) save watermarked photos back to your library. Access is used only while you actively use these features.
Analytics and diagnostics data is retained by Firebase according to its standard retention settings (up to 14 months for analytics identifiers) and is automatically deleted afterwards. Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat, Apple, and Google as required to keep your Pro access working and to comply with financial record-keeping obligations. All content you create in the App (templates, signatures, exports) lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the App.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, KVKK in Türkiye), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we hold no account or identity data about you, most of these rights are satisfied by design; for anything else — including deletion of analytics data associated with your app instance — contact us at support@stockimg.ai and we will assist you.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
All network communication (analytics, crash reporting, purchase validation) uses industry-standard TLS (HTTPS) encryption.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated policy is published, as indicated by the “Last Updated” date above. Please review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
